“OPEN DESIGN ITALIA”, THE FIRST BIENNAL OF SELF-PRODUCED DESIGN AT THE BOLOGNA PORTICI HOTEL

It follows the event recently opened “Open Design Italia”,  first Biennial of self-produced design organized by Selected – curated by the architect Elena Santi and Laura Succini along with the Cultural Association Design Aperto in collaboration with ICREDIBOL and ICEBERG, the cultural Office of Bologna city, GIOVANI DʼARTE, Culture Office of Modena city and Ottagono Magazine – which will be held on 20th November 2011 until 9.30 pm in Bologna at the I Portici Hotel, featuring the work of 29 young, self-produced Italian and European designers – as the work by interior designers VicoloPagliaCorta under the sign of sustanaibility, Nicholas Cheng, Lanzavecchia+ Wai, duo of interior designers making furnishing covered by lycra – and including the creations “Design in gabbia”- standing as “design in cage” – by Anthony Knight and Raffaella Brunzin [handmade], bright fashion designers and Professors at the Fashion Design Faculty in Treviso of IUAV University of Venice. A not to be missed happening to enjoy the contemporary creativity.

Prosegue l’evento recentemente inaugurato “Open Design Italia”, la prima Biennale del design autoprodotto organizzata da Selected – curata dall’ architetto Elena Santi e Laura Succini unitamente all’ Associazione Culturale Design Aperto in collaborazione con ICREDIBOL e ICEBERG, il settore cultura del Comune di Bologna, GIOVANI DʼARTE, il settore cultura del Comune di Modena e la rivista Ottagono – che si terrà il 20 novembre 2011 fino alle ore 21:30 a Bologna presso I Portici Hotel di cui sarà protagonista l’ opera di 29 giovani designer autoprodotti – quale il lavoro degli interior designer VicoloPagliaCorta all’ insegna della sostenibilità, Nicholas Cheng, Lanzavecchia+ Wai, duo di interior designer che realizzano arredi ricoperti di lycra – e includerà anche la creazione “Design in gabbia” di Anthony Knight e Raffaella Brunzin [handmade], brillanti stilisti e Professori alla Facoltà di Design della Moda di Treviso dell’ Università IUAV di Venezia. Un evento imperdibile per apprezzare la creatività contemporanea.
