SOCIAL ENTERPRISE
Teaching skills and trades to asylum seekers, giving them a platform to build a sustainable economic future and to facilitate social inclusion in the community.
Mentored by Sarto Anthony Knight, the participants of Talking Hands produced stunning fashion and accessories collections, drawing from their varied cultures, bringing their own personal narratives into their designs, telling their stories through their work.
As well as training by expert volunteers, the project involved the local community and prestigious manufacturers such as Lanificio Paoletti, who donated their textiles remnants.
